    Now Hear This!

    Why is Safety Ignored?

    Presented by Eric Rusch,

    Territory Manager, Protect Ear USA

Being able to communicate in noise is a primal need. Eric Rusch will provide insight as to why employees fail to comply with hearing conservation programs and what HR professionals can do to best manage the situation. To illustrate his key points he will discuss the current law, best practices, and physical science.

Do managers and employees understand why only simply following the “law” will result in hearing loss?

Why does a well trained employee, even with good intentions, not wear hearing protection devices completely?

During this presentation MVHRA members will learn:

    • The draft CSA Z1007 - Management of Occupational Hearing Conservation Programs.
