    “Employment Benefits and ACA 2019 Updates”

    Presented by: Angela Villhauer, Team Leader for Mercer’s Health and Benefit Consulting  

    During this presentation Ms. Villhauer will cover two main topics: Sharing of results from Mercer’s National Survey benchmarking data on employee health plans 2018 and ACA update/upcoming important dates.  In addition, she will guide the group through key trends and developing thoughtful and sustainable strategy as a key stakeholder within their organizations. 

                                          In this presentation, you will learn about:

    • Current benchmarking data that will be useful in your own “plan hygiene” and will help in determining benefit strategy for 2019. 
    • Updates on any ACA and compliance requirements as they continue to morph and change.
    • Tools to lead strategic benefit discussions within management team, and develop a multi-year strategy for employee benefits.

    Speaker’s Background & Experience:  

    Angela Villhauer is the team leader for Mercer’s health and benefit consulting team in Iowa and parts of IL.   She is the lead consultant, strategist and carrier contact for Mercer Iowa.  She oversees employees in two locations: Hiawatha and Urbandale.   Angela has worked with employers of all sizes for 30 years with Mercer, a division of Marsh & McLennan Companies. Her expertise and experience is focused around health strategy, plan design, carrier negotiation, funding and consumerism.  Angela advises clients throughout the state and speaks at many events on the topic of employee benefits.
