    “Drug Usage in the Workplace: Identifying Local Drug Trends”

    Presented by: Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force Detectives

    During this presentation, The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force Detectives will discuss how to identify drug usage and drug paraphernalia in the workplace. SEINT Detectives will review workplace drug testing procedures and provide any updates on new drug testing techniques available. They will cover local drug trends in and around the Des Moines county area. They will also have drug and drug paraphernalia on display for a more hands on approach for the audience.

    • Learn how to identify drugs and drug paraphernalia in the workplace and within the community.
    • Understand how drug usage within your workforce relates to the culture of your organization.
    • Learn about new drug screening techniques and procedures for workplace drug testing.
    • Understand how drug testing directly impacts workplace safety.

    Speaker’s Background & Experience: The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force (SEINT) is comprised of three law enforcement entities in Des Moines Co Iowa. There are a total of three detectives and one commander to oversee the day-to-day activities. The SEINT detectives have all been trained by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Basic Narcotic Investigators School, as well as certified in clandestine laboratory investigations. The three detectives have a total of over 20 years in law enforcement experience and have attended multiple interdiction and interview training programs that allow them to effectively take down larger drug organizations.
