“Building Mental Toughness for HR Professionals”

Presented by: Holly Adams, Holly Adams Consulting

During this presentation, Holly will share tips and tricks to build mental toughness. The coronavirus pandemic has had tremendous impact on HR professionals. They’ve been required to respond quickly to organizational and employee needs to ensure the health and safety of their colleagues. HR professionals can be most effective when they have a solid foundation of perseverance and mental fortitude from which to draw.

The learning objectives of Holly’s presentation include:

    • Learn the definition of mental toughness (the ability to focus on solutions, especially in the face of adversity)
    • Understand the elements of mental toughness
    • Implement one strategy that will begin to build mental toughness

    Speaker’s Background & Experience:

Holly has served in various Human Resources roles in different industries for more than 20 years. In April 2018, she opened her own practice, Holly Adams Consulting, to provide clients with a coaching partnership that brings valuable guidance and intelligence to the development process. She has a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is passionate about topics such as trust, leadership, grit, self-awareness and mental toughness. Holly loves learning and believes in the power of gratitude, green smoothies, and coffee.
