“The Resiliency Recipe”
Presented by: Tammera K. Rogers
Founder at Aveea Partners
During this presentation, Tammy will help the audience discover the steps they can take – right now – to recover from adversity, bounce back from difficulties, thrive in the midst of chaos, and excel, even under the most difficult circumstances. Burnout had been called the occupational hazard of the 1st century. Why?
Tammy will answer this question and more during her thought provoking presentation.
The learning objectives of Tammy’s presentation include:
- Define Burnout
- Identify the stages of burnout
- Discover techniques to build resiliency
- Leave with a tool to build a resiliency plan
Speaker’s Background & Experience:
Tammy K. Rogers began her career at a startup company in Minneapolis designing employee attitude surveys. Within six months she was tapped to lead the new training and development division. When the startup was bought out, Tammera was recruited to manage NCS/Pearson’s corporate survey group.
Five years later Tammera joined another startup firm and became the Director of Program Development for Excellence in Training Corporation. While she was there, she wrote more than 50 internationally distributed training programs and worked with best-selling authors like James Autry and Bob Nelson. In 1995 Tammera ventured out on her own for the first time and formed an organizational development firm called The Meyvn Group – which is called Aveea Partners today.
During her career, Tammera has held Vice President titles in both Human Resources and Operations. She is a certified Coach. She has led 200+ employees in remote offices from Boston to Los Angeles. And she has had the opportunity to both succeed AND fail spectacularly.
Today, Tammera is best known for helping leaders experience “Aha” moments in order to develop new ways of thinking, new attitudes and new behaviors that transfer to the real world. And throughout Tammy’s 30+ year career, she has partnered with hundreds of companies – both large and small – to help them improve results through the building of people, processes and procedures.
