Presentation Title: “Assessing Changes Made and Anticipated to the HR Landscape During the First Term of the Biden Presidency”

Presented by: Jeffrey Stanley CEO and Principal Consultant for HR & People Strategies, LLC

Presentation Overview: Mr. Stanley will be sharing his thoughts and assessment of the President Biden administration at the mid-terms and its effects on Department of Labor policy and practices.  Specifically, he will delve into the administration’s changes as it relates to wage and hour laws, minimum wage laws, discrimination and retaliation guidance, labor relations and union campaign rules, employment law, and harassment in the workplace.  He will discuss the successes and challenges faced by the administration, and what to expect over Biden’s remaining first term.  He will then lead an interactive discussion with the audience to answer any questions, as well as seek input from others to share with the broader group.

    Attendees will learn how to:

    • Assess changes made in the HR landscape by the Biden administration in the past 18 months
    • Anticipate changes in federal government policy and practice expended from his remaining first term
    • Proactively apply those changes in the workplace to ensure compliance and avoid adverse legal impact
