Presentation Title: “What’s on Top of Employee’s Minds”

Presented by: Angela Villhauer, Sr. Principal with Mercer

Presentation Overview: Angela will be sharing the results of two Mercer surveys – the national survey on benefits (Health Insights) and Top of Mind for Employees.  She will navigate the group through what Mercer is seeing as key issues and strategies as part of total compensation.

Attendees of this presentation will learn how to:

    • Access what is happening in the marketplace in terms of benefits
    • Evaluate how competitive their current benefits are in comparison to other employers
    • How to create benefit packages that allows them to recruit and retain talent for their organization

    Speaker’s Background & Experience:

Angela Villhauer has worked for Mercer in numerous roles for 35 years.  This experience has provided her a solid foundation for helping employers build a competitive and sustainable benefit program for their employees.  Today, her role as a senior Principal in the organization is to lead the Iowa team for health and benefits as well as providing benefit consultation for employers across the country.  As a leader for the business, she has an opportunity to hear what is top of mind for employees, take the trends emerging in the marketplace, and help develop benefit programs that are key to employee satisfaction and retention, while at the same time working to contain cost for the employer.
