    “Employee Health & Benefits in 2020 & Beyond”

    Trends, Compliance & Top Plan Administration Needs

    Presented by: Angela Villhauer, Principal and Business Leader with Mercer

    During this presentation, Angela will provide information on employee health and benefit strategy planning for 2020 and beyond. She will review recently released benchmarking from Mercer’s Annual National Survey of Employer Sponsored Health Plans, compliance/ACA updates and upcoming important dates. In addition, she will guide the group through key trends and share some developing strategies key stakeholder can add to their radar within their organizations. 

    After participating in this session, attendees will learn to:

    • Embrace ACA and compliance requirements as they continue to morph and change. 

    • Lead strategic benefit discussions within the C-Suite.

    • Develop a multi-year strategy for employee benefits.

    Speaker’s Background & Experience: Angela Villhauer is a Principal and Business Leader with Mercer.  She has worked with employers and employees for 30 years in Iowa and the Midwest.  She leads the health and benefit consulting/brokerage teams in the Hiawatha and Urbandale locations.  Her expertise includes strategy, plan design, carrier negotiation and funding.  Angela advises many clients in the state of Iowa.
