Erica Eikren, a licensed Iowa educator and dementia trained professional, manages all
Alzheimer’s Association programing and assists over 60 support groups around the
state to aid dementia caregivers. As a daughter of this disease, she helped to provide
care for her father, who had Parkinson’s and Dementia, and for her mother, who had
Vascular Dementia. Her goal is to spread awareness to all Iowans so that they know
how to reduce their risk for the disease, know how to detect the disease early, and

Rina has been a business coach for 9 years and recently expanded into a partnership. Between her and her business partner they are focused on the biology of business: understanding how nervous system regulation and subconscious frameworks are impacting and influencing their clients’ success in business. Rina’s focus is based in an Experience informed approach, connecting lived experiences with current behavior, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. She spoken on this topic at SHRM events across Iowa and many entrepreneurial focused conferences.

JHOMAHARA COOK is the Community Outreach Resource Planning Specialist for the Des
Moines District of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division. She is responsible
for all education outreach and strategic enforcement planning for the district. Jhomahara has
worked for Wage and Hour since 2015. In her previous role as a Wage and Hour Investigator
she conducted many complex investigations related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family
Medical Leave Act, Davis-Bacon Act, Service Contract Act, and more.
